Farmers & Merchants Savings Bank was chartered on March 1, 1916. Farmers & Merchants Savings Bank later became Farmers & Merchants Bank & Trust when the articles of incorporation were renewed in 1966. After several location changes, F&M Bank & Trust moved into it’s current main location of 221 Jefferson.

To date, F&M Bank & Trust is proud to have numerous locations in Southeast Iowa which includes Burlington, West Burlington, Mt. Pleasant, and Oakville. Whether it has been through purchases or mergers, F&M Bank & Trust continues to grow and prosper.
